Huna Totem Corporation is excited to present Áak'w Landing! This proposed development is coming to Juneau in 2024.

Local values and community responsibility are at the heart of Áak'w Landing. Join us in celebrating a new, enduring resource for Juneau as we transform an unused stretch of waterfront into a new home for Alaskan community, culture, and business.

Waterfront Revitalization

Imagine a new destination for year-round dining, retail, events and all that Juneau has to offer. These architectural renderings from Huna Totem paint a picture of what the dirt lot along Whittier and Egan, across from KTOO and USCG, will become!

Evergreen Attractions

Extends the Totem Pole Trail and Seawalk.

Áak’w Landing builds on the trail between Taku the Whale to the end of Franklin dock. Art installations and panoramic views accompany your uninterrupted scenic walk, far from traffic, along the coastline.

Year-round dining and retail options.

Three retail and three restaurant spaces, including covered outside dining, will keep you and your family coming back. Huna Totem is prioritizing local Alaskan businesses, so come by Tracy’s Crab Shack or try our other new, exciting offerings.

A new green space.

Áak’w Landing features an open park area, offering stunning views of the Gastineau Channel and surrounding mountains, with room for food-trucks, lawn games, and even outdoor concerts.

Invaluable Alaska Native art and education.

Through numerous Alaska Native art installations, Huna Totem is proud to promote Alaska Native culture and identity, continuing the work of our other revitalization projects.

  • On-site Alaska Native art and culture center
  • Education opportunities with private classes and tours
  • Partnering with Sealaska Heritage Institute's educational programs
